Welcome to Our Candle Studio! 🕯️

Hi friends! 👋 My name is Mariia Herasymliuk, and together with my husband Ivan, we founded our small Candle Studio in Ukraine back in 2016. What started as a heartfelt project between us quickly turned into a family business – my mother, sisters, and brother joined us, forming a dedicated team of artisans. 🌟

Our journey began in the picturesque village of Knyazhpil in western Ukraine, where we lovingly crafted candles, held workshops for children, and participated in fairs and exhibitions across the country. 🇺🇦 In 2020, life took us to Tokmak in eastern Ukraine as missionaries, where we continued our creative work until February 24, 2022, when Russia’s full-scale invasion changed everything. Our home and workshop were occupied, but our spirit remained unbroken. 💔

Despite all the challenges, we found a new home in Toronto, where we reignited our passion for candle-making. 🕯️ Each of our intricately carved candles carried a piece of our history, resilience, and the warmth of our hearts. We poured our souls into every design, ensuring that each candle was not just a source of light but a symbol of hope and beauty in your home. 🌟

As of March 1, 2025, we have relocated to Moncton, New Brunswick, where we continue our candle-making journey. We are excited to bring our craftsmanship to a new community and share our love for candle-making with you.
